The Islamabad Green Revive campaign is a two-month campaign in Islamabad, where children and youth engaged with the government, decision-makers, high-profile individuals, and other partners to address deforestation, plastic pollution, and burning of fuels. Children campaigned online and also met in person with the Caretaker Prime Minister and presented their charter of demands, including the need to preserve and restore the ecosystem, establish a comprehensive waste management system, implement strict penalties for environment violations, and establish climate-resilient agricultural practices.

2,420 participants were reached in person at the F9 Park Islamabad, Faisal Mosque, hiking track, Lake View Park, dialogue with the National Commission on the Rights of the Child, and during the International Children’s Day at the Prime Minister House in Islamabad.

Strategic events engaged 300 government officials, 60 from the Islamabad Wildlife Board and 20 from the National Commission on the Rights of the Child. Influencers like Sidra Faisal and officials like Mr Pirbhu Lal from NCRC attended the events. Pledges for environmental protection reached 400 verbally and 250 through signed boards.
